I can't see if it's the official town twitter page but someone put a post on appearing to mock Harvey Price . This could get messy . I don't have twitter

The official Grimsby Town twitter posted a clip of Harvey Price saying "what a day"

I'm not normally one of those people saying "worlds gone mad" "everyone's too woke" etc, but I really don't think this is a case of mocking someone with a disability - just a clip of a person saying "what a day" reflecting how many Town fans would have felt at full time

Hopefully the admin doesn't get in any hot water

There was no mocking. Harvey’s quote spoke for 120,000 of us. Social media is however, an absolute minefield and this was always going to get complaints.

Let's not make ourselves the centre of a culture war clash over "wokeism" and the like, eh? Would be a great way to take the shine off last night.

There was clearly no intention to mock, but on the minefield of social media it's probably wise for the official account to tread carefully. No need to get angry about it either way.
