Ah that’s really sad news. I too grew up listening to his commentaries. Probably the best ever in his field. RIP Motty. Hope he gets a minute’s applause at games this coming weekend.

Sad times. "Proper" football man and "only" 77. Had expected him to be much closer to 90 for some reason. Matterface and the like just don't compare
