Im not!
What a totally dispiriting window (so far) and indeed month. I remember stating that due to the late finish and early start that the September window was a case of merely trying to catch up. However for me this January window was going to be a real marker on how ambitious a club we are and how we build on last seasons success.
Much improvements off the pitch have been made and I am firmly behind keeping this club sustainable. I am pleased that our current owners agree about transparency  as questions need to be asked and indeed answered. If we have to really downgrade our expectations then I feel that is a dangerous philosophy given the need to maintain good season ticket sales.
Also I do not buy this geography thing, I am sure it exists in some deals, but by no means all.
A number of, shall we say, similiar clubs have found a way, and money, to strengthen their teams far better than us like Barrow FFS!
The fans  have done there bit by record season ticket sales and fantastic away support - but it feels that is not being reciprocated. Over 300 pages on this thread shows how much we care.
I am sure that we will get the usual diatribe about wages, location and being turned down -  but personally I am fed up of this continous one step forward and two back we have had to put up for what seems forever. I generally thought that was going to change.
Finally what I don't want to happen is that frustration filters through how we support our team. They showed us last week what they can do against the odds and deserve our support.
We now have to finish the season with a threadbare squad which seems a huge gamble gone wrong and all of the goodwill from last season could evaporate once again.
The only positive I can see is this ruddy month is over.
However if we sign a couple of bangers in the next 3 hours please ignore.

Anyone else noticed that there are an influx of new and fairly new posters since this window opened?
