It does beg the question what a good draw looks like tomorrow. If Harry bags the third yesterday and we’re in the hat with no conditions, then the likes of Spurs or Man Yoo away are obvious preferences.

But you’d presume that such a tie would be significant incentives for Luton’s players too, and I’m not sure a motivated Luton rocking up at BP is really what we want.

Wrexham at home, should they get past Sheff Utd probably wouldn’t be the worst shout in the world.


Exactamundo - my thoughts entirely, Fleetwood or Wednesday at home is my favoured draw...FA Cup cash is big news for us but chicken feed for Luton compared to play-offs and even just a long-shot chance at the Premiership. We haven't had a FA Cup QF in my lifetime and only a couple in the League Cup - Wolves and Norwich. The profile for the club would be huge - it moved the dial for Lincoln.

I’m trying not to get too excited about the draw as I think the replay is really tough looking at their away form.

Some are saying they may find BP difficult to play at, other than the pitch quality I don’t think that’s a factor considering they play at Kenilworth Rd.

They’ll need another off day and we’ll need to be above our best and show no fear.

If I remember corrrectly it was because plod weren't able to manage to organise themselves for a replay within less than a week even though they had managed to for years.

in some ways replay will be even harder. We can't change outr team or ,really, our way of playing/set up. They now know our weaknesses and can change the way they play. They can also bring in better players.
All in all it's going to be a huge ask
