So was at football with my pal that works in the team hotel and I mentioned to him about a few things about Town. He said that Cropper has no visible injuries and has been going to training etc for a while. Interesting given that PH said he was out injured for a long time, unless it’s not a visible injury?

Town have trained on the 4g at Bradley a few times in the last couple of weeks and cropper wasn't training

Very interesting that he’s still around the club is what I find weird. If it was a lengthy injury then surely he would be doing his rehab elsewhere and not staying in Grimsby?

Why should he not stay in Grimsby? He is a Town player under a contract, not a loanee, so the town physio team should look after him.


You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

I meant more the fact of getting specialist treatment for a long term injury, Ryan Taylor is doing most his rehab away from the club.

Given his age, I'd imagine Taylor has a family, probably a young one, and lives away from N.E. Lincs? Makes sense for him to do properly-supervised rehab nearer home.

Cropper less likely to have a family and, I'd guess, more likely to be living in the area because it's easier to move when you're relatively young and without ties.

Complete guesswork, but it all seems logical to me.

Cropper is in the team hotel, I believe RT has a home in the area. Purely due to the fact I’ve seen him leaving BP on foot after the game with his family out the front of the ground 😅

Taylor is Yorkshire born and bred, he'll 'ave cara-van on Thorpe Park.
