I've been good friends for a very long time with one of the guys who's trying to fund the take over from the current owner.... 40 years plus and we've both witnessed the ups and downs of our respective clubs, the joy and the pain etc. but this is something different

We've always had some good banter over the years about where our respective teams are in the league (or non-league as the case may be)

I'd be devastated for him now though if Scunny were to fold with HMRC pulling the plug on them....

I really can't imagine how I'd feel if Town were to go under after a life time's financial and more importantly emotional investment to then just get blitzed by one man's arrogance, ego & mismanagement

I truly hope they do manage to survive this latest crisis and if they end up even lower down the pyramid so be it.... having a club to support like your dad did and your kids do is the thing that matters above all else

It means of course that I can carrying taking the pee out of my mate while ever they're down there in the basement and we are on an upward trajectory
