I hope for his sake and ours that he can have a fantastic end to his career here (hopefully a couple of seasons).

Both him and the club deserve it for the effort put in to even get back to this point.

It's amazing how our club offered him a deal knowing he wasn't available for pretty much all of that allotted time. Big respect to the club for that, not many would do it. Let's hope he cam get himself fully fit and puget playing back to his full potential. Utm

It certainly starts a new chapter for the mariners, in how to look after players. Let's hope the players' grapevine is in full swing and the message gets through to prospective signings. Town will look after you.

We’ve essentially given a lifeline to the lad’s professional career. We’ve done his rehab and now given him a contract. Hopefully we get something out of it cos if he gets back to the levels of last spring, he’ll be one of the best players in this league

Good luck to him - I hope he rips this league apart once his 90 minutes game legs return - his brain worked faster than many last season. Could be a great foil for McAtee and Khan!!

Pleased for the lad, hope he can have a strong finish.

Also hope this goes someway to reversing the negative reputation we gained under JF with players..

Stockwood has eluded to this several times now.

Perhaps the penny will begin to drop with those fans whining because they can’t get a pint in their stand or there’s some advertising boards missing. Equally, when people moan because we’ve missed out in signing a player etc…it’s clear the clubs reputation is shite. That needs to change and I suspect it is but it’ll take time…
