Our excellent Cup/Playoff record this year

We await our FAC destiny.  We should not fear facing a team in a higher division.

In the last 6 months we have won 3 “sudden death”  playoff matches.  All against teams who finished higher than us in the league.

  All 3 matches were away from home.  2 matches were against very well-funded teams with large home crowds. The final was against a team with some very talented individuals.  We won over the equivalent
Of 4 matches- with ET included.

In the FAC we scored 5 goals against the clear leaders of Div 1.  We then won away with another dominant performance against another Div 1 team.

For good measure we also beat Man City U21s.

Overall, we the equivalent of 7 cup matches in the last 6 months,  all against teams higher in the pyramid.  Only 2 matches at BP. This impressive and consistent record speaks volumes for our quality, fighting spirit and will to win.  Cup matches suit us.
