As good as it gets i think.
Maybe Hunt rather than Green but not complaining.
Come on Town
UTM

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Would have had Smith in instead of Maher otherwise right team for me - but maybe Smith needed a rest so I understand why

Yeah, Smith looked a bit tired against Accrington so a rest might do him some good. I thought Orsi might get a start for Khan who didn't seem his best either.

Joe Ironside starts for Cambridge.
Remember seeing him trial for us at Harrogate a few years ago along with Craig Clay, when Town was a football league club and Harrogate Town wasnt.
Ironside was good Craig wasn’t.
Who did we sign? Baffling at the time.

We weren’t a football league club, it was the summer before we got promoted in 2015 I believe, to be fair, neither looked amazing but naturally, hurst went with the hard working player. Didn’t really turn out shite for anyone…

Yeah summer 2014, and Ironside spent the next 5 years in the Conference North.

But if Hurst had have signed him - as he was the more hard working and skilful trialist on show on the night - his career could have totally different - rather than being in hold for 5 years.
And fair enough - Harrogate were at least one league below us for the friendly

I saw him in a friendly (I think it was Gainsborough away) and thought Ironside was shite. Glad he’s gone on to make a career though.

So far the best thing I've heard are the Town Fans. They are all giving the team support and encouragement with their voices.

Just seen Stale Mince being interviewed at half on BBC - he’s wearing black nail varnish. Why can’t Stockwood and Pettit adopt a bit of eye shadow or blusher? It is the 2020’s….

Three pages says it all because it's 0-0 about ten minutes into the second half, and nobody posting on here is actually able to watch the match because there's no streams.

According to the BBC, we have had 16 shots with 8 on target. That's pretty impressive away from home, so credit where it's due.

About time we got a biggie in the draw, but will probably get FGR away.

Despite all the talk earlier, I never really thought the Scunts would actually be in danger of going down to NLN. But I have to say that it is starting to look a very real possibility unless they don't turn it around soon.

Would have been a travesty had we not won that. Couldnt find that killer 2nd and sods law they scored with their only shot. But we kept going, lovely lovely ball from Simmonds brilliantly finished by Khan to spark joyous scenes in the away end.

Despite all the talk earlier, I never really thought the Scunts would actually be in danger of going down to NLN. But I have to say that it is starting to look a very real possibility unless they don't turn it around soon.

As we know, the National League is tough, even 6 points is a lot to haul back when you are playing so badly

I didn't get the number but a safe journey home to all the Town fans. I think you made the 12th man today.

Probably closer to £2M to £2.5M I’d guess? 65000 x £30 to £35 average price?

How much does a full house at old Trafford bring in? £1 million? Of which we'd be entitled to 45%!

The away support is absolutely amazing, only 702 turned up for the Accrington game (including the 25 from Accrington).

I take my hat off to all of you well down for showing what true supporters you are.

Is the Cambridge keeper, Will Mannion, related to the great Wilf Mannion who played for Cambridge towards the end of his career. I remember Wilf Mannion went on strike because Middlesboro' put a ridiculous price on his head so nobody else could afford to sign him. When he played for Hull he was banned from the league by the F.A. for not divulging his informant in a bribery case. I also remember it was his son who threw a bottle into the Barratts stand, whilst playing for Norwich, hitting a young lad on the head.  Giving my age away now.
