When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

If this team turns up Saturday, hope you're sitting comfortable as we could be in for a very, very long afternoon.

Good side but we can do em

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Morgan Whittaker looks like a real player . A season long loan means he’ll be available unfortunately.

Relax - they will rest most of their first team to concentrate on the league thinking we are there for the taking.

Got to go now, nursery has just come in with my meds.

When we played Huddersfield in the third round back in 2014, they went into the game only five points off the play-off places in the Championship.   We more than matched them and if not for an Aswad Thomas meltdown (at both ends), we would have gone into the fourth round as a non-league outfit.

Plymouth look good, no mistake about it.  But in a one-off cup game, who knows...

I always feel like these kind of games suit Hurst's style. We got a few good results against higher opposition while in non league and were unlucky against Huddersfield that day.
