Green had a slow start, then picked up an injury and missed a few games.  Struggled to get back in the team, bnuit has played the last few and looks an absolute warrior!

Echo everything that has been said, but he's got a hell of a shot on him aswell, he nearly snapped the post yesterday

Maher has barely had a look in, but has looked steady when he has played - haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion yet.

Good luck for the season

Can you do a short term loan? We've got enough defensive cover, maher to go to Halifax for a month would do both teams and player the world of good. But I guess if someone gets injured we need him, although I feel Pearson is more than capable.

I don't think you can do *any* loans outside of the windows now, except possibly an emergency loan for a goalkeeper.

Think loans can go out to the NL - we had that lad from Bristol City on a short term deal last season. Would be very surprised if Maher was allowed out though - Waterfall or Smith could get a straight red next week!

Yep.

Plus, with Maher in the squad it gives us the option to either start or switch to a back three.

Hurst might play a back three against Plymouth or even start Maher. Then there’s the match against Man City’s crèche in the Pizza Pronto Pantomime Cup which Maher could play in.

Not sure that we’d let any of the experienced CB’s out.You need 4 centre halves in a squad, players know that when they sign and know they’ll need to fight for a place but generally will get opportunities.
