I think I went out on the urine with him away in Plymouth in the early 2000's, it's all a little fuzzy.

It seems Jesus had been to a beer festival in Nottingham, looks like he had a few to many & fell into a river and sadly drowned, i first met him in the 1970's when i was in a punk band which was formed after we saw the Sex Pistols at the Gardens in 1976. He was a lovely lad, a massive GTFC fan, he did love it when the Town fans sang about him being Jesus with his beard & long hair. He had requested that his funeral must be in Grimsby. Another massive Town fan is lost, God Bless you Dave.

RIP Dave, great sense of humour, haven’t seen him at a Town game for some time though.

Didn't know him but knew of him. A real character and big Town fan.

RIP.

This. Never forget the chants at away games when he would walk in, seemed a decent bloke and took the banter well.
RIP  fella

My main memory of him was at Notts - think it was the season before the first relegation so about 2009 - he was leading the Town singing. My 3 kids were there and loved it. RIP

Didn’t know him, but knew of him, always brought a smile when that song was sung. RIP Fella.

Only saw him twice, Notts County springs to mind the last time. Not being a regular away fan, I hadn't realised that the Jesus chant was a familiar welcome. RIP.
