Just watched the extended version and the standout was the number of times Kiernan was seen in defensive situations, clearing up and coming away with the ball. Really clear from that why PH picks him so often

When their player was sent off, I liked the way Smith reacted.  He waved him off with distain as if he was a naughty school boy being sent to sit on the naughty step.

Smith has not long turned 21 and only played his first, meaningful senior game 9 months ago. The maturity he’s developed in that time is remarkable, no doubt helped by the incredible experience of the play-offs last season. What a trilogy of games to experience at that stage of your career.

Definitely something mutually beneficial about his loans here. Salford’s loss that they couldn’t see something in him when they had him.
