Continuing with the prem league embarrassments. Liverpool's £85 million signing just got sent off on his home debut. 2 points from 6 Gotta love watching the plastic fans sweat. UTM!

Whilst its fun to see Liverpool flop, I am extremely annoyed as I have Nunez in my fantasy team

That sending off is a flipping disgrace. If I were a bindipper I’d be flipping fuming.

When was the last time a player at a club at that top level did something as mental as that? They were a lot better without him and a man down.

Same here and I tripled captained Salah thinking he would be fresh and the first home game 😔. To be fair though to Nunez has started well in the English game bar that sending off. Erling Haaland for me will probably get you the most points though over the season.

Have you considered employing a head of recruitment analysis? You need to think longer term! Invest in your bedroom....sorry...backroom staff!

I'm loving the prem at the moment. Not because I care about any of the teams but I'm through to week 3 of a LMS with a prize pool £23k. Over 63% of people are out after 2 week's

The Premier League is the best league in the world for quality throughout the league (top to bottom). It is a massive step up from the Portuguese league & the Dutch league as Martinez & De Beek at Man Utd have discovered in recent years. Only exceptional talents will deliver in their first season in the Premier League. You won’t see the best out of Darwin Nunez until next season.

I've stuck with Jesus as captain so far, he banged in about 2 billion goals in pre-season and so far it's paying off. Now if only I could pick 10 other players that actually scored points I'd be fine lol

I was watching match of the day Saturday night and Gary Lineker I think it was in the post match analysis was saying how much Jesus is flying now he's at Arsenal probably because he feels wanted there more so than Man City.
I know they've got a new Amazon prime series out "all or nothing" on Arsenal. Going to be watching that as I've enjoyed the other two eg Manchester City and Tottenham.

Not bad Have you played the recent football manager series.Ive got the 2021-2022 version and Crickey is it in-depth and time-consuming if you allow it to be. I limit my time on it but its a quality game. Having said that I still prefer playing the real thing especially 5 a side .

No, I think the last version I properly played was 2012-13
I enjoyed the documentary movie about Football Manager, especially when they interviewed all the real players and managers who play it!

What's that on? Would be an interesting watch. I think the last one I played for any length of time was 2005. I couldn't get on with the 3D matches, though I imagine it's far better now. Best version ever was CM01/02.

The latest offering is very detailed and in depth. Some of it too much so for me. I’ve always enjoyed the transfer and setting up tactics side of the game, but find the match engine and gameplay pretty boring. I’ll generally go on holiday for a month at a time once the transfer window closes. It’s great for getting through plenty of seasons, the only downside for me is my assistant wins manager of the year rather than me, which usually leads to him getting nicked by other clubs.

I've been playing this game for a while now and the step up in gameplay from earlier versions is staggering.

What a howler by Chelsea goalkeeper Édouard Mendy, he won't forget that for a long time.
Leeds 1-0 Chelsea.
Make that 2-0.

| When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?” |
