You'd have to go all the way back to the end of April 2022 for the last time both center backs scored in the same game. Same two center backs as it happens earning a point in a 2-2 draw at Barnet.

Hard for him tonight .Up front on his own .Their centre backs controlled him to be fair. But just have to see , not going to judge him on tonight .Hasn't played for a while ,new country ,new league ,new team mates .Must be difficult .Let's see how he settles

Even if he didnt get a sniff of goal, just the fact that he kept defenders busy allowed our players that little bit more freedom. Its just as important part of the game as a team player, especially if the majority of the rest of the team are also capable of putting the ball in the back of the net.

Thought it was a big ask of him to play as a lone striker having not been at the club very long and has not got used to how we play,he will come good.

Thought he did well  being up front alone and not knowing the system or where he was needed to be . Dont think he gave the ball away from what i remember  and the crowd seemed to warm to his effort

We won 4-0, hope the lad enjoyed his introduction to English football.  Didn’t know his team mates, probably out of condition and asked to play as a lone striker.  Far too early to draw any conclusions.
