Good to see the Youths and the Women both win this past weekend. I had sent an email to the Academy folk last week and to general enquiries about posting both team’s fixtures for the new season, but didn’t get a reply. No worries. Likely way too much going on.

But if anyone has access to the fixtures for both teams, it would be useful to see ‘em.

Would quite like to see both team’s play and to make plans to do so. When the Youths are at home same day as the 1st team, a double dose of Town footie would be just the ticket… And based on this upcoming weekend, it looks as though home Youth games are at Bradley rather than Cheapside. The Women though, are apparently still playing home games at Brigg Town - courtesy of the full-timefa site.

Youth team fixtures are here - https://www.lfe.org.uk/calendar/efl-youth-alliance-north-east-fixtures-2022-23/

I think the ladies team play at Market Rasen now.

Great. Thanks “diehard. Much appreciated. The full-time fa site has the Women playing at Brigg. But this might just be a carry over from last season’s info. Their first league games is listed as being at home on Sep. 18.

No worries.  I like to try and take in a few youth games when I can.  Always good to see what's coming through and often the entertainment value is quite good.

It's a few years since I've got to a game but under Woods the young lads play some really good stuff, which was in contrast to the very physical approach a lot of sides used.  Mansfield especially have always been, ahem, robust.  But surprisingly the teams at higher levels such as Doncaster surprised me with their approach.  Often very little other than lots of bigger lads with a kick, rush and hope mentality.  Under Woods you can clearly see there's an identity in how they're playing and it's with a bigger picture in mind.

Regards the Ladies at Market Rasen, I could be mistaken.  I just remember seeing something about how it was daft having them playing so far out of town.
