A 1 0 defeat for Town. We conceded just before the interval and didn't really look like scoring in my opinion.

Ferriby are a big strong side and were very much up for it. Having spoken to a few of their players, they think they'll be challenging for promotion this season which would put them where Cleethorpes and Grimsby Borough are now.

That was a nasty looking injury to Jaz. I don't think he knew where he was as he was helped off.

Always a good trip out here anyway.


Clee are a higher level than Grimsby Borough aren't they?

I've always had the softer spot for Grimsby Borough ahead of Cleethorpes Town. I love the fact that there are now two local sides in Step 4 of non-league football.

I saw Immingham Town at Thorne Colliery last Friday. They looked useful. It would be good to see them do well too. They are in Step 7.

Did you get an UF ST in the end?

I did, same seat as last season. Got it quite early on.

I think I would struggle to know where I was of I was if I found myself in Noth Ferriby
