So, I’ve managed to get my tickets, so I was looking at parking, says there’s a free car park about a 10 minute walk from the ground, with no other car parks within a 25 minute walk.
I would imagine that the free car park will fill up very quickly, so we would have to get their rather early. Does anyone know if there’s any street parking?

Yes there is. Go on Google Streetview and look for the area south of Heathcote and Star pub. There are plenty of streets which have Residents Only parking Mon - Friday but O.K. on Saturday. Nearer to the ground residents only on Saturdays.

My mrs said if it’s the one behind the station (b&q, Asda, to maxx etc) then she reckons it’s the only one around. Off the high st is permit parking Only.

Leyton tube (central line) may be the best option, parking up at
South Woodford

I'm going back to the early 90's now but I can remember driving down there one season and we left really early and when we got to the ground there were absolutely no parking restrictions at all so we parked right outside the away turnstiles.

We then went into Central London for a bit and when we came back an hour or so before kick-off there were "no parking" cones everywhere and just my car parked on the street. I found a local bobby and explained to him what had happened and he was great and said he'd make sure that nothing happened to my car during the game. True to his word we came out after the match and the car was still there so we got a quick getaway.

If the Tube's are not on strike I'm parking at Stratford. Last time I went to Stratford it all ended rather well.

Park at Loughton and tube in, easy to get to, only a handful of stops. Parking is only £3 I believe.

Remember, Leyton is now in the Ulta Low Emissions Zone so you might find cheap parking but it'll cost you 12 quid to drive to the ground. The ULEZ starts at the North Circular (unless you drive an electric car).

The advice to park at Loughton and use the tube is good advice!

Just checked my car, it's ok, no charge. You can check yours here....

Street parking around Epping station. 15 minutes from M11. Epping is the beginning of the line that takes you to Leyton. I parked there for the play off final. 15 minutes from M11. Piece of urine

Sorry but this is nonsense.

Only applies if your vehicle is not a low emissions or electric vehicle and as long as your car is either a diesel (Euro 6) or petrol (Euro 4) there is no charge.

Amazing. I live just outside London and travel in regularly. I drive a diesel and I am charged.

Still, thank for your expert opinion. Please send me your address so that you can send me the reimbursement for all the charges that TFL have wrongly applied to my car.

Erm............check the link above, I drive a 2017 diesel and put my reg in and the ULEZ does not apply to my car. The congestion charge does apply to my vehicle.

All about the emissions. My deisel gets a £12 charge for Ulez. Probably still cheaper to pay the charge and park near the ground

Orient has a plethora of on street parking, by the time you’ve parked outside ghr emissions zone balderdash and faffed with the tube it could cost you more…

As I said in my previous post.

I was answering a comment that suggested all cars were liable to the charge.

Found Epping to be good for parking and checked car for ULEV - no charge. After the final was back on the M11 within 10 mins of getting off the tube.

So your car clearly isn't a low emissions (euro 6) diesel.
