Any ideas on when the away kit will be unveiled?

https://t.co/216nUNVzhr

"Our new training gear will be available to buy next weekend and our second kit launch is planned for the weekend of 16th & 17th July."

Probably unveiled on Friday 15th, unless we need to wear it for a friendly.

Just tried it on. Lovely shirt but the collar is all a bit strange. Itches and would annoy me if I was playing in it. Can just about turn the white bit inside out.

Real shame that collar. Can’t help but feel it would have been absolutely perfect if it had been a round neck in the same style as the sleeve cuffs, but never mind…

I bought last years blue away shirt which also had a really itchy collar. Found it was ok though after 2-3 washes.
Agree on the white bit of the collar though, doesn’t look quite right.

The shirt is 90% a beauty, but that collar ruins it. The club have gone with a quirky collar quite often in the past too. I don’t know why they don’t ask the fans their opinion first. They did that once and it worked quite well.

Not sure what you're both talking about with regards to the collar on last season's blue one. I bought it and played footy in it right out of the bag and it was fine for me.

Macron sportswear is designed and manufactured in Italy.
Must have production issues

Not sure of the overall structure but they definitely have a store in Manchester which is where we order our kits for in grassroots football. I would imagine that production is also there. I've previously dealt with Macca Sports who are based in Peterborough and have production locally. Their issues are the same as mentioned by another poster, the demand for kits from so many Clubs/Teams all at the same time (pre-season) is insane. Macron are considerably bigger and therefore may have more factories but the principle won't change. A possible solution for the future would be to have the new kit designed and in production by March, giving us a headstart on everyone else but it won't allow for any changes in demand, can't reflect season ticket sales etc, this would all be 'in the moment' and still leaves us in the production queue should we have sold out of the hypothetical March supply. Quoting someone else, it's a wonderful problem to have and if this is all we have to complain about then it's a great indication of where we are and a positive lesson to learn from.

Surely, the shirt is ultimately for the players?

What's the sizing like on the new shirts? Previously I've alway had to buy one 2 or 3 sizes larger than normal clothes.

Yes, first and foremost, you’re right. I can’t imagine they think it’s great either. Every other detail on it is spot-on, though.
