The fact that it shows fans arriving for a night game speaks to the optimism and atmosphere of expectation that I had as a young lad walking down Imperial Ave. 65 years ago. I like the poignancy of the Youngs signage acknowledging their contribution to the community and the symbolism of fans marching out of darkness into the light.

Pedants may wish that the cat had white paws!
