Anyone remember the first time Hurst was here and we won something like 9 out of 9 Pre-Season friendlies.

Correct me if I'm wrong?

Yes including victories over Derby & Peterborough and then we drew our opening game 2-2 against Kidderminster who ended up relegated.

Given the quick turn around it’s going to be 5 preseason friendlies this season. Last season the Cleethorpes games was 42 days before our first scheduled league match. This season it’s 21 days before.

My brother got me a ticket for the friendly against Meggies.  If anyone is around would be good to chat to a fellow Fishy forumer (is that a word?)   When he bought it, the lass said there's a big signing coming in today

Yes, but the point was pre-season results mean nothing. Last season wasn’t particularly good from a results point of view but we were the fittest team in the National League because of it.
