Don’t quote me but I think they might have 500-700 capacity for us and there’ll be 2/3K wanting to go. Their ground is titchy.

I think it was 700 before they improved parts of the ground when they got promoted; I don’t know if the away allocation has got any bigger since.

Certainly going to be a tricky one that; 5,000 into 700 does not go. A lot of people will want to go to that one, especially if we’re doing well.

Improvements to their stadium were for home fans. There will definitely be limited tickets, fewer than 1000 so demand will be 3/4/5 times supply.

I did the pre season friendly there a few years ago and there were maybe 1200 Town. Then, they gave us a full side usually used by home fans. Now, visitors get standing behind and to the side of the goal which looks very cramped, and some seats in the corner.
If Bradford got 600, that’s likely to be what we are offered. Home areas likely to see Town fans then, but it’s a very friendly club.

Harrogate, and the new grounds at Colchester and Wimbledon.

I went to Sutton thirty years ago.

I saw Town in that 1989 cup game at Plough Lane. There weren't that many of us there in 1984 a few days after we'd won at Everton. A one all draw and a fine lunchtime session in the Market Porter at London Bridge. In those days you could get a direct train back to GY from London.

I was a student at Colchester but would go and support the away side at Layer Road if I was desperate for a game.

Been to Harrogate Railway Athletic a good few times. It sounds as though Harrogate Town's ground isn't much better!

A few memories there from when Town were a very good second tier side. Having said that, I think I have just enjoyed my favourite season which had previously been 1979-80. Easy to forget our league form in the first half of that season was indifferent too.
