One thing we criticised the old guard for was not taking full advantage of the last promotion. Watching Lincoln the season after attract 6000 season ticket sales raised huge eyebrows and obviously this was achieved impressively by the hierarchy at Lincoln.

My question is - what are we doing differently than back in 2016?

I almost expected to see flyers being handed out outside the ground on Sunday or something like that, as the new owners are clearly good at thinking a step ahead, but I don’t see any sort of new initiatives to take advantage of this momentum we have. And we all know, momentum doesn’t last.

This isn’t a criticism as such from me, as we’re in safe hands and i like these guys, but how do we get more than the usual 3000 ST sales?

Hurst deserves a good budget for next season, and clearly he’ll only get that from increased income.

I can probably gaurentee now we will certainly get over 3k season tickets sold.

For a start season tickets are on sale just days after the final, back in 2016 we was met with blanket silence from the club on season tickets until a full month after the final, by then any enthusiasm had gone and even then the season tickets weren't actually ready to sell!

How many did we shift last year? 3 and a bit thousand, wasn’t it?

I think we’ll clear 4k.

Wrexham fans still keeping faith by the look of it with just under 6000 ST's sold so far.

They’ll win the league at a canter next year; that’s in no doubt whatsoever.

£225 for 18-22 years is a great offer. That's £9.78 per home game. Hopefully get a few young adults who are interested taking them up on that and keep Blundell Park bouncing like it was at times last season.

They had a very slow start season, which ultimately cost them.
A different manager might of had a different outcome.
they will make some more crazy signings for sure

I said when they appointed Phil Parkinson that he was the wrong man. They needed someone who knew the rigours of the National League, someone who knew how to build teams at this level, and someone with a serial track record of winning promotion back into the EFL.

I now wholeheartedly revise that opinion and think that Phil Parkinson is absolutely the man for the job.

With the two best and biggest teams going up they’ll have an easier route to promotion…
