If anyone on The Fishy wants to go the the Final, but can't afford it, please do get in touch with the Trust for some financial help.

I have no involvement with the Trust, other than being a member.  I just want to get their message out there.  I was one of the people who asked them on Monday if there was a way I could help others go to the final, because I can't make it.  I never imagined so much money would get raised.  Hopefully several hundred extra Mariners can enjoy the game in person as a result.

My big request is, don't be too proud to ask.  I donated because I wanted others to go instead of me.  Please take up that offer!

I can only echo what you wrote. It's all about supporting the team when they come out, not being too proud or thinking of it as charity, to give the team the best chance of success in getting the club out of this tin pot league.

I’ve sent them details of flights but am still waiting to hear from them.

Seriously though, are there any football teams/schools/youth clubs that are looking to go? Maybe even from Louth, brigg, immingham etc. am guessing that from what I’ve read, maybe transport is the issue
