We've had a good season . The Club is on it's way back up,there's a positive vibe again.

For those of us lucky enough to get tickets for tomorrows match , everyone will be LOUD and PROUD (no one needs telling) the Love and Passion has been back this season.Win or Lose we'll be backing Paul and the players 100%.

We are Town , GRIMSBY TILL I DIE .

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Coming this far has already been a journey, didn't expect our first season after relegation to go so well as we know what it is to struggle to overcome relegation. The management, recruitment and backing from the board to advance the club and pull the community together has been fantastic.

For the team I'd just say to make sure to give absolutely everything you have in the game so you don't leave it with any regrets.

I know that what we write here doesn't have an impact on the players (I bloody hope not anyway..)

But we have a real chance here. This can be a glorious season, one that will go down in our history. I don't buy 'it's already been a great season' - we should aspire, believe and fight for a brilliant season.

(can anyone else see a flag fluttering in the breeze and hear 'Land of Hope and Glory' playing in the background?...)

…we have had the best night in years on Monday, we’ve turned around a horrendous losing run to be 2 games from promotion, Blundell Park home stands have been 85-90% full nearly all season, and we’ve averaged 800+ fans at away games despite ticket restrictions all over the place and a very southern bias of opposition clubs. Great season, great club again, great fans… I’ll only be watching one game tomorrow not interested what happens in Paris UTM

I joked to my neighbour (Liverpool supporter) about the 2 big games this weekend. Donegal v Derry and Wrexham v town.

As someone who halfway through the season had lost confidence in Paul Hurst and thought he should go I’m more than happy to say I was wrong and should have been more patient but after the start we had I just thought he had lost the plot. Paul Hurst’s interviews send me to sleep but he does seem to know how to get the best out of mediocre players. Win or loose tomorrow I still think we have had a good season.

Dead Eye Dobbin stood motionless waiting, waiting, waiting for the ball to arrive. Back came the right foot, Down came the right foot, Bang ! Headlines around the world as the ball flew into the very top right hand corner of the goal.( Jim Dobbin scoring in the 89th minute for Town against Newcastle United away 24/10/1992 )

My hole Donegal (as the Girls would say) come on Derry; who would Michelle say is the “massive ride” in the Derry team?

As opposed to the manic rhetoric spouted by Holloway. I actually like listening to PH's interviews. Measured, thoughtful and never too down or too upbeat.
