Well if we can't get 1 point from our next 2 games then we don't deserve to reach the play-offs.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

We’ll get a point but won’t go any further than one game in the play offs on the basis of our recent performances.

Surprised if we get a point since players seem to be falling apart or doing everything they can to make sure we lose.

Utter sh1te.

We were miles better than them with 11 players and were still better with 10.

One of those days I'm afraid when everything that can go wrong, does go wrong.

A bet that I am prepared to take with you And to be fair odds  of 2-to-1 in your favour. A tenner  says we get at least a draw in the next two games

Daggers play Wrexham next weekend so I’d be surprised if we need a point, but would like 6 to get the momentum going.

It's a blip and it's mostly inexplicable- 2 own goals, red card, penalty. But collectively we've been 5-0 down to Barnet and Maidenhead going into the 75th minute of both games and that is a bit worrying. Time to regroup and time for some players to step up

What worries me is that whichever of the other play off teams we play it's going to be tight and each came could turn on a red card, a penalty, or a soft or own goal.

Given that, is Waterfall too much of a risk at the moment? Would we be safer with Pearson?

I haven't seen Pearson pay for ages, so I don't know how he is looking these days. Just asking what others think.

Efete. The most attack minded defender at the club.

Oh yes. I had forgotten. I though there was a chance he might be fit for the playoffs? Let's hope so, especially given that Scannell is out.

Let's hope MacAtee can play some part. Don't know if Max Wright is fit at the moment but if we can get him on the pitch, even for 30 minutes, he could be useful as an impact sub.

I think we'll be in the playoffs, but any route is looking hard to get to the final.  3 games against good teams.... that is a big ask.   what are people's thoughts on the teams (assuming the 6 teams remain as is)?.  Chesterfield have had a brain-fart, but Notts County and picking up points and the other teams are playing pretty well.  I keep telling myself "dont underestimate Solihull" - I think sometimes we look at the size of the stadium/support and think "Notts county, Chesterfield. Grimsby, Wrexham - big support -  they will go up"....

But Halifax and Solihull are good teams.

I'm really not looking forward to the playoffs (assuming we get there) - too stressful.  Maybe mid-table medioctrity would be less stressful?

Efete always seems to break down injured. He recovers, comes back for a few games and then gets injured again. Not sure how much we can rely on him going forward. He’s actually only made 4 more appearances than Pearson has for us this season.

You've got to be fearful of Solihull. Even playing for an hour with ten men, they still saw off Dagenham easily and they have goals all over their team. Very rarely do they fail to score and they are in great form.

Halifax are less flamboyant but don't concede many. Notts are also hitting form right now and are scoring a few.

If we play to our best and have the rub of the green, we can prevail, but I feel it's unlikely and I think we will still be in this league next season. Even so, I think that's a great achievement given the rebuild job we had to do. A lot of sides struggle badly for a season or two when they drop to non league, so kudos to Hurst, whatever happens from now.

We will be stronger next season and the league will be a bit weaker, so we can look forward positively.

A large proportion of Pearson's games have been from the bench. Efete has played 2340 minutes and Pearson has played 1670ish after today.

Doesn't really matter if we do or don't get that point (I'm pretty sure we will.) Truth is we aren't good enough to win 3 super tough games on a trot to win promotion this year.

We can beat any one on our day but I feel on current performances, we won't get past the first hurdle.  Solihull are a formidable side.
