It’s a lot easier to be a solid reliable centre back at this level then a game changing , playmaker and scorer of quality goals..Mcatee no contest for me.

Surely that reasoning applies at every level of football?

Certainly it’s going to be between these two but Waterfall for me. As fans defensive mistakes and goals given away tend to stay in our thoughts and minds much longer than missed chances or misplaced through balls.

I think it's a testament to how far we've come in the last 12 months that we can argue about who our POTY should be between Waterfall, McAtee and Clifton.

Or perhaps Mcatee is, much like Waterfall, at the right even for him.

What you’ve said makes zero logic, both players are good in their respective roles…

POTY - Clifton
YPOTY - McAtee
Most Improved Player - Waterfall (is last few matches has cost him the award for me, still had a good season though) just slightly ruined it for himself in my eyes.

He has not been immense his errors have cost at least 5 goals this season when he has been caught ball watching add to that the OGs and his stupid sending off today. Good yes, immense no.

I’m amazed how anyone thinks Clifton has had a POTY season. Yes he’s done better and this is his best season but he’s not in that bracket for me.
