Barnet Fan Vlog!!

Hi All, hope this is okay. Fair play coming back to get a point today. Assume you are not that bad usually though? We struggled to even field an 11 suitable to play in this league and that's what killed us in the end, we had no fit subs apart from a 17 year old and a geezer who went AWOL for 6 months. Fair play with the number you brought down, shame about the behaviour at the end, although I think it saved us from you lot grabbing a winner! Good luck for the rest of the season and the play offs when you make it

Shocking he was. Maybe just a bad performance but my god he was poor. Long throw caused has havoc though!

Their goalkeeper made Cropper look like Cafu.

Cropper was absolutely fine today. Barnet created absolutely nothing from open play, and their two goals came from a set piece that Waterfall conceded, and an OG which was crossed in from the opposite side of the pitch to the one Cropper was on. Every single Barnet player put in a worse performance than Cropper today (who ended the match with an assist), so I dunno what this clown is doing picking him out for special criticism.

Have to say I was underwhelmed by Cropper today (throws excluded). Poor distribution and generally not great
How many times did he sprint to take throws on the left, only for someone else to take it and leave him 50 yards out of position

Not sure that’s his fault though…

Jones - cannot see what he brings to the team other than making us more defensive; I hope he doesn't start a game between now and end of season

Cropper isn't Effete like Crookes isn't Amos, our first choice full backs like to get forward and yesterday illustrated how important they are, Jones I expected very little from on what I've seen of him so far and I was really disappointed with Hoolihan and Clifton who both looked away with the fairies.  

I haven’t got a massive issue with Jones seemingly not being particularly good at football, I can live with that. What grinds my gears is he constantly walks around pointing and shouting at everybody else, digging other people out.  … all whilst hiding from the ball, never getting near a tackle, making a pass or generally just contributing to anything.

The OP has a great point about the behaviour of some of our Fans . My young son was embarrassed by their behaviour . He said " it's not like we've won the league , it's a draw at Barnet ' .

Yeah, celebrating an 89th minute equaliser when we were 2-0 down on 80mins, how embarrassing. Quite impressive that your negative agenda has already tainted the mindset of a child to the point that he's already not enjoying last minute goals in playoff pushes.

I 100% would have gone crazy and celebrated that equaliser because although its 'just barnet' it was a massive turn around and a massive point. But... I would never have gone near the pitch or caused any disruption. Redicilous. Not real fans. Or if they are they need to control themselves, drink and inject less.

There is a world of difference between celebrating a goal and behaving like a knuckle-dragging moron, thus giving more ammunition to clubs and the football authorities in their general opinion of our fans. I know it's only a minority but it's their behaviour that reflects on all our fans and our club.

He wasn't talking about the thousand or so celebrating wildly . He was talking about the simpletons on the pitch and ripping a net off . Your agenda seems to read Into a post what you want .  Forgive me for bringing my children up to have respect .

Yeah that's what I'm getting at, if someone else goes on the pitch and gets themselves into trouble I couldn't really care less in the moment. I'm going sick and there's a good chance that whoever's next to me is getting an arm around them and I'm not arsed if there's 200 of us or 1300 of us or if we're playing Barnet or Lincoln when it's a last minute goal. I'm not letting someone else's behaviour impact upon my enjoyment.

I saw a lot of kids who was probably getting too excited and was becoming mouthy but also credit to a couple of "more mature" fans I would say who was sort of pulling them to one side and advise them to think before reacting so they don't get into trouble.

But also at the end the old goofy steward in the cap was certainly trying to antagonise some of the younger town following.
