mini classic on red button at the moment in the Scottish Chanpionship 'decider'. Full time big name Killie are 1 down to little part time Arbroath. As it stands Arbroath lead Killy by 2 points with 1 game to go (and they have a better goal difference)

Would love to see part-time Arbroath make it to the Premiership and be mixing it with the like pf Rangers and Celtic next season.

Been to Arbroath a couple of times, I think that their ground is the only one nearer the sea than ours.

I can already feel the wind looking at that picture!

Fair result in the end.

Arbroath had a stonewall penalty turned down in injury time, straight after they fell behind, but that referee was shocking for both sides. If we think we have it bad in the NL, spare a thought for the Scottish leagues because he was appalling.

I've said before on here that Arbroath are my Scottish team because the town shares similarities with Grimsby — east coast, known for fish, usually punching above their weight, etc.

And truth be told, it was like watching Town. They scored an early goal and even at the time you felt it was something they'd sit on and you could sense the opposition growing. An equaliser certainly felt inevitable and once that came it almost felt certain, even with just a few minutes remaining, Killie would grab a winner.

There was a lot of praise for Arbroath and while they looked motivated and organised they did look the part-time team that they are. All the more incredible that they've been up in the promotion hunt the entire season and still have a chance of making the Prem next season via the play-offs!

I'll be keeping an eye on that too (although even now I kind of sense that they'll run out of steam).
