Wrexham are very adept at scoring winning goal deep into added time.  Eg, 2 against Stockport in the Trophy. They need these goals.  They can be wobbly such as when 5-2 down at home to Dover.

We beat them at home and were somewhat unlucky away against them,  if we meet them in the playoffs then it is another one-off match.  They would be favourites.  However, at Cardiff we were favourites after beating Cheltenham home and away.  We know how that went.

Anything can happen.  As Stockport found last Fri.

Another point with the OP is that only 4 players are now first-teamers from our table-topping team at the he start of the season.  Waterfall, Clifton, Taylor and McAtee.  Hurst has reinvented the team.  Many of our current players has also played fewer games than our rivals.

The turnaround is superb and everybody involved deserves huge praise. We’ve had a bit of luck go our way too which always helps.

One things for sure, if we don’t go up then it absolutely has to be Wrexham instead because they’ll walk the league next year otherwise.

Maybe a very left field thing to say but it's very fine margins now and I would love to see Arjan Raikhy back with us, just someone with his energy to pep up our midfield.

Having waxed lyrical about Jones following his Chesterfield display, he was the complete opposite against Stockport.  The win masked what was a pretty dreadful display on his behalf a little, Holohan wasn't much better either to be fair but he did pop up with the winner.

If I'm honest I'd forgotten all about Raikhy but if we can get him fit his energy, composure and quick passing from deep could well be a massive boost for the run-in.  His ability to take a decent set-piece would be welcomed too.
