6 weeks ago it could’ve perhaps been the right decision but right now it looks a bit bonkers…

My favourite Twitter reply to Burnley’s statement was a Stoke City fan comparing it to them sacking Pauli’s and saying that both were the correct decision. And when numerous people replied asking what division Stoke were in when they sacked Pulis and where they are now he argued that was irrelevant.

Stoke finished in the top half of the prem in each of the 3 seasons after sacking Pulis, Burnley will get relegated in about 3 weeks!

Just listened to Talksport on the way back from the shop. A Burnley fan called in to say how sad he was, but then he said, " Ive got breaking news for you, me and my dad saw Sam Allerdyce in Tesco Express last week"
He didn't sound too bright but if you're looking for a small investment this weekend, fill yer boots

That's a shame, he wasn't a bad football manager.

Just seems a strange time, theyre just rolling the dyche on getting a new manager bounce and purely that, no strategy behind it at all, not enough time for real changes to be impimented but not far off safety enough to just accept going down

Hopefully luton go up, struggle, end up bringing dyche in and he can do another decade of annoying all the super league well wishers

Think Burnley’s chairman has forgotten that Burnley almost got relegated out of the football league not that many seasons ago.
Found a newspaper this morning headlining Grimsby’s last match of the season win against Champions Fulham to keep us in the Championship in 2001 - Paul Groves scoring the winner.
It can all go wrong quite quickly with bad decision making.

Surprised at Burnley. I’ll turn this round and say it’s good for Dysche. He’ll get a better job at a better and bigger club. Great Manager who was limited in his evolution at Burnley due to their obvious constraints.

I think after 10 years of garbage to watch pragmatic football to stay in the division and bank another big payday each year for owners and management I would be ready for a change if I was a Burnley fan.
