Wouldn't be surprised if this is a sell out.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Home area will be full for Stockport, surely they will fill the Osmond.

Borehamwood likely to be must win. We should have most of the Osmond to sell for that game

Yesterday certainly tempts a few to return and a result next week will tempt even more. We have to sell out against Stockport and make it a cauldron of noise.

Can't see it selling out, would need a full Osmond of Stockport and based on recent gates at least another 2k on the home gate ?

There's plenty of reasons why the attendance will be higher and maybe/hopefully in sell out territory. Bank Holiday, current feel good factor, good form, up against the league leaders, people back home for Easter, nice sunny weather (hopefully!), etc

What is classed as a sell out nowadays?

We've topped 7000 once this season against County, so I reckon that's about as good as it will get.

We also did almost 6500 against Yeovil and 6000 against Dover with not a lot of away fans, but both fixtures were around the time we were on that great run and there was the new owner buzz.

So it looks like about 6000 home fans is the max and whatever they bring.

I reckon it will be high 6000's myself, maybe push 7000.

If I think back to sell outs in the league in recent years against Lincoln etc, it was always just under 8k.

No tickets available and all tickets sold with no need for giveaways?

Yeah, we don't want any first-timers, having the opportunity to experience us winning against the top of the table in front of a full house!

I imagine it'll be a sell-out. Stockport will certainly sell their allocation, no question there. Am I right in thinking they can win the league here? Had Stockport fans asking me weeks ago if they'd get more than their allocation  once they sold out, of course they won't though, no space for more really, with ST holders dotted about the home ends anyway. Other comments above give good reason for us to sell out the home ends, Easter bank holiday etc.

Did I say that giveaways and concessions was a bad thing? or did you just purposely just want to look like a smart @rse?

Did I say that you said that giveaways and concessions was (were) a bad thing? and yes I was going for the smart-bottom look.

Agree - although our official capacity is still listed as some 9000 I believe that for various valid reasons the club will never try to sell that many tickets.
Stockport will sell their allotted quota  for the Osmond - say 1500 ( Although theoretically the capacity is circa 2000).
6000 fans for the Yeovil's & the Dover's - but that was the Osmond open to home fans.
So yes I reckon we will match the Notts County gate of just over 7000 - & that will be classed as capacity for the foreseeable future.

Notts didn't sell their allocation though. The correct total number of seats is here https://gtfc.co.uk/visitors/. Not sure if Chesterfield nominally sold out at just under 1,500 but they either didn't take a full allocation or the police didn't allow it. The last team that took and sold a full allocation was Scunthorpe (circa 1700 probably allowing for a bit of extra segregation at the Main Stand side). From the Wrexham and Notts games it appears that the club are selling circa 6,150 home tickets excluding the Osmond. If the police are allowing circa 1,500 away fans these days then it looks like about 7,650 is the maximum these days.
