Might just be as simple as they haven't done what the slavery act says they should do

Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a commercial organisation to prepare a slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year of the organisation if its total turnover is not less than an amount prescribed by the Secretary of State.

Wow! That’s a serious statement. They also allege breach of the sanctions on Russia.

When you read the US Attorney’s statement it’s clear that it goes beyond not preparing a statement.

As far as I read though Staines only connection to them is that they happen to be a tenant to Downing LLP, seems a bit odd that they would now suddenly say we have had enough and are Downing (pun intended) tools.
