Yeah I know it's only a friendly but I'll be watching.

Still think it's a national disgrace that it's not on normal telly but heyho.

England starting lineup: Pope; White, Mings, Maguire, Mitchell; Bellingham, Rice, Ward-Prowse; Sterling, Watkins, Grealish

Substitutes: Pickford, Forster, Shaw, Walker-Peters, Guehi, Coady, Henderson, Gallagher, Mount, Foden, Smith Rowe, Kane

More interested in working out where to go at Weymouth. Standing or seating? I assume the Standing is behind the goal and not the side bit near the seats.

I know it's only a friendly, but it still looks a bit strange to see more players on the bench than on the field!

Extremely low bar for 'national disgrace'!

(Which might be a phrase used in the Abidjan Post tomorrow)

Not really a national disgrace is it. Does anyone truly give two f***s about an England friendly result? It’s not as if someone has been found guilty of 20 criminal offences and a succession of absolute lies but faces no consequences is it?!

Why pick out their goalie, I reckon Town would give them a game going on this.

VAR rules out an England penalty and rightly so.

I don’t disagree re the penalty TBH. Amazed the ref didn’t book the player for the fouls on Bellingham and Greilish by the same player though.

In other news, Oldham winning so Stevenage join Scunny in the League Two relegation places as it stands.

Rochdale also winning, just to hammer yet another nail into Scunny’s relegation coffin.

That would be a dream relegation.

The public of Salford are out in force tonight to see their heroes play Crawley
1290 in attendance. One hand it’s laughable, on the other it’s deeply annoying

There’s talk of them moving to the 12,000 seater AJ Bell stadium which flanks the M60 close to the Trafford Centre. That would be an absolutely baffling if true.

I thought their ground was quite neat and tidy when we played there under Jolley - certainly big enough for their needs.

I'm sure I remember Gary Neville in that BBC documentary in during the early days of Saford, saying how he could picture them playing in the Championship within 10 years or so in a 20,000 seater stadium.

What he didn't mention was the reality of a more than half empty 20,000 seater stadium for Salford were the away support would regularly outnumber the home fans.

The best bit in that documentary was when Gary Neville found out his own club had a "Sky dodgy box"
