My guess is the club have negotiated leaving the fixture at 15.00 on a ‘trust us basis’. If any incidents occur our ‘great friends in the police’ everywhere will use it as an excuse for ever more to move our kick-off times about to suit themselves, invariably to the fans inconvenience.
I think we all want Saturday kick-offs at 15.00. Please don’t give them any ammunition.

Unfortunately, There will inevitably be some incidents on Sat involving fans from BOTH sides. Let’s just hope the police don’t make things up though, like they have done in the past.

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

1800 never in doubt
2500 would of been nice
Shame as it would be a cracking atmosphere if it was a full house
I'm assuming there will be 1000 maybe 2000 empty seats

Seems silly doesn’t it. Unsold seats and customers who would’ve bought them. I’m sure we took more than twice that amount when we returned to L2 recently. Obviously they can’t sell more to their own fans as they’re not as well supported as us, but why don’t we ask for another 1000? Have we?

Not sure what you mean with the comment about not being able to sell more to their own fans but I asked a Chesterfield fan about whether that's our lot and he said they could give us 800 more in a different stand but that it's unlikely that they'll keep them back for overspill of home fans as they're expecting a fair few. 7000+ crowd expected.

Do they sell out to home fans? Are they needing that overspill you mention for themselves? If that’s right, there wouldn’t be any unsold seats. Evidently the stand given to visitors holds 2112 supporters. Why are they holding short? Evidently, additional seats are available (or can be) in the adjacent stand, but, as noted above, they’ve obviously decided to keep those for themselves so either feel confident they can sell them or are preferring to limit our support on the grounds that it might affect the outcome of the game rather than have the revenue. Happens quite a bit with us doesn’t it.

Sheffield United fans will be travelling to Stoke from Sheffield station as our fans arrive to change trains. This would be a handy moment to enquire about Soccer Express? Might be cheaper by coach and a much quicker journey.

Ah okay, yeah not sure to be honest. Didn't realise that the away end held 2112 either, will ask the same person about that.
