I think City rejected a bid of around 7M not that long ago for McAtee.

On the Madrid win I wouldn't be surprised if Poch get's the sack in the morning, PSG are obsessed with winning the Champions League same as City.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I really like how our McAtee is always sharing his brother's progress on Twitter, genuinely proud of his achievements.

Poch slowly being exposed as a bit of a charlatan. I know most spurs fans think he’s the messiah but essentially, he won nothing. They failed to even turn up when they did get to the European cup final. I know Levy is a male private and there are bigger issues at Spurs but he hasn’t won the European cup with a side littered with world class players, and then one season he didn’t even win the French league…

I only saw the highlights of the Madrid vs PSG game last night and had the TV on in the background as Ferdinand and Owen gave their thoughts on the result. I think they were pretty on the mark by pointing out that Messi, Neymar and Mbappe are brilliant attackers, but do sweet F.A. defensively. Against the best teams, PSG can't afford to have 3 passengers when defending so just have to hope to outscore their opponents and they rarely do.

I remember a few months ago and people were seriously suggesting we could see James Mcatee sign for us from City on loan 😂😂

I’ve often thought it must be difficult being the seemingly less talented sibling of someone supremely successful - ask Rhodri Giggs for instance. Fair play.

That said, I still think our own McAtee has a very promising career ahead of him. The way he carries himself, it’s easy to forget that he’ll still only be 22 when he reports for pre-season training next season. Another decade of improvement ahead of the lad.

A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.
