It’s funny, some people couldn’t bring themselves to praise the team at all when we were playing well and creating but not taking our chances.

Well we’re now playing average but taking our chances and winning games but the forum seems a bit quiet. I’ll take winning games any day of the week.

We are in that weird phase of the season now though, every point matters more than ever.  A scruffy 3 points on a long journey would be celebrated more if we were actually cementing  a play off place but reality is , we just stayed in touching distance. With just about every team above us picking up the same its just one game less to gain ground so we have to do it again.

I guess the good thing is that the teams behind us are 6 or more points behind and we’ve got them all to play.

March will be telling if we replicate February’s run then I think we’ll be well placed but the Borehamwood and Solihull games are crucial in my view. If we drop too many points then I reckon it’s done.

How many went??
Says 290 but Tellyrag says 500??

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Much as I'd like it to be true no way were there 500 Town there. 290 was a good turn out. Only 800 and a few in total.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Whatever it was a great turnout, well done to all.
