Two options you don’t seem to have considered:

No one was recruited last time it was advertised.

Someone was appointed but left for perfectly understandable reasons. Like he/she wasn’t up to it. Or left on I’ll health grounds of some other personal tragedy.

Easy to hate someone when they’ve shunned you…not a single spine at the club prior to the takeover so it’s expected people won’t like the new regime.

Of course, those of us who despise Fenty have a fixed narrative, not like these folk…🙄

Another option - we had a probation period and it came to pass that for whatever reason the probation was unsuccessful. A perfectly sound business precaution to provide safeguarding of quality. Not saying or assuming that this was the case, but certainly something that I'd utilised in my work and have had to use before - the applicant interviewed successfully but after the probation period they were released as they didn't fit the culture and so could be let go in a controlled fashion. Common and best business practice.

Not everything is an indication of doom, but interpretation and biased viewpoints certainly come to the fore.

Oh can you please intercourse off with your sensible suggestions? It doesn’t fit the narrative that one person doesn’t like the new CEO, perhaps Becauee she actually does something unlike the previous incumbent…
