Was cold.. decent game thought we were better team 1st half should have been 2-0 up at half time but for an amazing miss from 2 yards out..

Nobody really stood out for me for Town,Tomlinson and Braithwaite looked likely to create something from midfield. Decent finish for the goal from Adlard.

2nd half they came into it and when Goundrey was taken off after an hour they looked the more likely to score which they did from a decent free kick.

Saw some poor sportsmanship/gamesmanship whatever you want to call it from South Shields during the penalties. When one of there players kept shouting every time a Town player took a pen to put them off.

Then one of there players said something to our player as he came up to take pen and ref took ages telling him off and this maybe put Town player off as he took a poor pen!

Thanks TwoLeftFeet! It’s a shame there isn’t more of the youth team on social media, highlights, interviews, stats etc. I think it would enhance the community aspect that the board want to promote, young kids want to play for the youths and then make it pro, like the Harry Clifton’s and Max Wright’s.
