My friend who is Aldershot fan is travelling up from the South west for the game Saturday. Sadly I cannot join him and I'm jealous so please smash them and make him wish he hadn't bothered 😂

Oh yea don't get me wrong I'm by no means saying it's not decent food and as you say we all have different opinions in were is best for fish and chips.

Steels is reliable. You might get better elsewhere on occasion, but I don't think I've ever had a subpar meal there. If you don't get out for fish and chips much in Cleethorpes, it's always a good choice.

Yep, agree with this. Got to give them props for longevity. Others will come and go but Steels has always been one of the top dogs as far as I can remember.

I'm back in Grimsby from Maine in June, and the first place I want to eat at is Steels.  My missus also wants to get fish & chips from Marklew's and eat it on the sea front.
I also want to try a pint (or two) at Docks Beers - never been there!
