Played almost 90 times for us in just shy of three seasons and was a fairly big part of the 97/98 team. Like you say, steady eddie sort of player. I reckon he'd have got more praise had he been playing today for us when there's a significant amount of footage to watch back on in comparison to the 90s.

Also seem to recall them asking on the tannoy at half time if any photographers had managed to capture any images of the goal. Decent enough player, struggled with a couple of injuries though possibly? It was also Widdrington that Kevin Donovan was pointing at as he celebrated his goal against Northampton in the playoff final wasn’t it?
