Playing a semi final cup game VS Anstey Nomads this afternoon on Clee Town's main pitch at the Linden club this afternoon. Not a bad day weather wise if you fancy an extra footy fix. Kicks off at 1.30 with admission £2 and juniors free UTM

Glad you got down to the game Tinkler. Unfortunatly the performance wasnt the best but as with most teams, town had a few players out of position due to injuries and unavailability, Weather they wouldve made a difference or not who knows but town have a huge game away VS Arnold Eagles this Sunday. They are top but played a game extra and have won every game bar 1 all season, a 5-0 whooping by town. Town are unbeaten but had 2 draws thus lie just behind so basically whoever wins should win the league as they are both head and shoulders above the rest of the league so should pick up enough points against the lesser teams to cross the line. Notts Trent are also in the mix tho' having caught up with victories in games in hand and town havent played them yet so they could have a say.
Kim Brown the captain has been a huge miss since she was injured a few weeks back. She's a natural ball winner and spreads the ball left and right to bring the wingers into play and has so much drive and is also very vocal. She should be back for Sunday so that is a big plus but we shall see what happens. Also another semi final coming up altho' a daunting 1 away at Lincoln City who are on a different level. The girls can only give it their best and even when things arent quite going to plan they play 100% for the badge on the shirt they love UTM
