So, we play an attacking game based on quick wingers. We can score goals. We are resilient, especially at the back. We have a team of fighters who want to play for the club. We have a full ground making proper noise.

I haven't felt this positive about Town in a very long time.......

Miss Scunthorpe. Not a beauty pageant, just sound advice.

never expected that result. Seems very much like a carbon copy of saturday - same 'flow' to the game and the same outstanding figures. what's very encouraging is that 2 of the best players from pre season (pearson & fox) can't get a starting place. Plus we have 2 'regulars' in  Longe King, Lenny out injured.
Max Wright , who has generally been class for us, can only get on the bench whilst Spokes (who had a decent first season, all things considered) doesn't even make the squad. Then there's the proven quality of Scannell and Grant who will hopefully soon be in contention plus exciting youngsters like Khouri and Essel

Quite exciting when you look at it like that

I was thinking the same.  If the squad was fully fit, you could make up a team out of those not in the first 11 last night and it would be probably beat the side that started last season.  I think the current squad would challenge in the top half of league 2 - its a sad fact that you need to be better to get out of the National League than you do to survive in League 2.

I don't think Pearson will be having more kids but there is a lesson there: if you're a footballer, get your Mrs pregnant in September because there's no football in June!

Waterfall has grabbed his opportunity with both hands. From cryptic comments I think Sears and Fox were our 2 positive cases.

Hunt offers a lot when the ball is in play but he's an asset for his set piece delivery.

Apart from up front, we appear to have great strength in depth.
