They are. Max is my best mates cousin and on the occasions I’ve spoken to him, he’s just been a really grounded lad and both seem really proud to play for town.

Really pleased for him. Hope he does well there and in his career at whatever respective level. I say what a few others have said about him earlier in the thread. On the I player last season in a game I did see occasional glimpses of quality .Granted though Hurst has seen more of him than me and he has his reasons for letting him go.

Wonder if we’ll still see someone coming on here and searching for “Jackson” two or three times a day.

Hoping that wasn’t him, surely can’t be healthy for a player to be doing that kind of thing.

Can see how somebody who is positive and driven can come off as arrogant, especially if they aren't getting in the team. Locally we tend to have a collective apathy and negativity where people make friends from moaning about things so maybe the local lads share that attitude of self deprecation that Jackson did not. I do find it funny that they only have nice things to say about local lads though that reflects your own personal preferences.
Nice sentiments Kris. I still sense Ira is a nice lad though . Seen him in a few interviews and I like his style.

In life though as someone said in the army "opinions are like bumholes everyone has one" eg not everyone will like you.
