Watching most teams, nearly all have a long-throw specialist who can launch the ball into the box when they get further down the field. Usually these will result in a few goals over the season.

We don't appear to have one, or is there someone not getting in the team or injured who have this in their locker?

Didn't we have one not that long ago or did I just imagine it?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

We spent the first 40 games of that season with Nathan Clarke coming up from CB to take every throw in.

Can’t remember him. Not many people can. Jude the Obscure.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

A real shocker. His timing was appalling. Lost count of how many times he rushed forward to head a ball coming down out of the air, only to hopelessly misjudge it and have to back pedal as it sailed over his head. Long throw in’s we’re basically all that he could do.

Looked like one of those throws where it goes higher than longer.  A bit like the aforementioned Nathan Clarke one from a few years back.
