Ok, long shot this. At the Weymouth game I got in the ground about 20 to 3 and the PA was playing a track which sounded a bit like northern soul. Couldn’t tell you anything else about it. Never heard it before. Anyone know what was playing?

Appreciate there’s unlikely to be many heard it given the problems - but it’s been bugging me all week.

What I thought was great on Saturday was that they turned the music off for 10 minutes before kick off to let the atmosphere build. People have been asking for this for years and long may it continue.

The speaker was about 2 feet from my head as I walked in.

Cynicism aside, walking through the turnstiles for the first time in ages, into the sunshine, seeing the pitch and the crowds, and hearing that for the first time is a combined memory I’m not going to forget.

Great idea but even better would be to do what Palace did when we went there. Salvation army on.. We massively outsung the home end with our edition of it! UTM
