So why did we? If you have to apply ( not be relegated into it) as you say then somebody dropped a large bo llock. You'd also better tell the NL north and south that they have to apply rather than be promoted. I'm sure the Boston's of those leagues would love to apply to be in the NL.



You just don't automatcally get promoted if you win a League you have accept that League's rules in the way that Sutton had to accept the EFL rule of having a grass pitch and also why if some clubs don't meet the new League's financial constraints then you can be demoted further down the pyramid.
