Utd will sell a gazillion shirts in China and the far east.

That's the way the game is now. They are signing a world brand who happens to be great footballer.

All moans aside about crazy amounts of money or the premier league he is still at 36 an absolutely phenomenal footballer.

Judging by comments on here he's too old for us to be a striker!
On the other hand, age doesn't matter.

To be fair to him, he turned down a bigger offer from Wrexham.

I came here to see who the first person was to mention Wrexham. Fair play, in there quickly with the second reply.

Absolutely and his drive to be the best is what makes him so impressive for me. There are very few players of his age who can command those wages and (almost) completely justify them. That said I think there are two possibly three squads better than United (including him) so he’s got his work cut out. I would say those squads are managed by better managers too.

He’s a brand. Hate PL Football but commercially the signing makes perfect sense

I think it's fair to say he is still world class.

During the 2018 world cup it was often said by various commentators that it was probably Ronaldo's last major international tournament. He won the golden boot at this years Euro's and will blatantly be at the world cup next year too. Call him just a brand who will sell merch in Asia all you want but he keeps on winning 3 points on a Saturday.

Didn't see that coming I thought he was off to City.

Reports saying he's signed a two-year contract and will be on a staggering £480,000 per week.

This sort of money is absolutely disgusting - should be stopped - for playing football FFS
