What was the previous arrangement/ deal? Let's hope it brings a few more pounds into the coffers

Commercial partnership but horrendous offerings.
Rather support local breweries & independents.

This is good for the fanzone, most people will prefer Docks Beers to Carling dog pi$$.

Carling, Coors and Worthingtons.

What a terrible trio of beers.

Ah, so that’s what they are! I’ve been trying to figure that out for yonks.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Great day back at BP today, was a little late arriving so didn’t get chance to sample the fan zone, but I can only echo the comments about the drink selection in the Trust bar.

Carling, Worthington’s and Aspall’s all at the absolute pìss poor end of mass produced beer and cider, and not a great deal of choice of bottles in the fridges either.

It’s a captive audience so people will ultimately buy it regardless, however in this era of constructive feedback it would have been great to have had the option of something slightly more premium. A Docks beer or two would be ideal,  but if we’re stuck with Molson Coors for commercial reasons then something like a Pilsner Urquell (ideally on tap but if not, in the fridge) would be welcomed. I’d happily pay another couple of quid a pint for something that isn’t Carling.
