I have just watched the Broadley FC highlights.

Liam Hearn still has it. In bucket loads.

He is currently plying his trade as the youth development phase coach at Derby County.

I wonder if GTFC have thought about getting an attacking coach?

Hurst and Doig always do well signing and training the defensive line due to them both playing in the back line in their careers, but have struggled of late with their forward line.

Just watched the video myself. If only he were a couple years fitter.... Was good to see him banging them in like old times. Id be happy to see him back at the club in a coaching capacity.

No offence but look who he was up against, he'd struggle against current professionals... I saw him at worldnet (amateur tournament for clubs fans) and he didn't really stand out massively in the man utd fans team and they didn't even get to the final.

The first thing I thought whilst watching it was I wouldn't be surprised if Nathan Jarman and Danny North said to have after the game "fancy popping down to Barton sometime?"

Hearn still has it I am sure to mix it in the lower depths of Non-League, lets face it he's only a season past his retirement so it was no surprise he looked sharp.

I think in a perfect world there are numerous ex Town players who could do a job here in coaching terms but it doesn't necessarily mean there are positions for them to fill. I am not sure what if what Hearn does at Derby is full time but obviously he lives down that way so I would imagine its convenient for him in more ways than one.

It was just nice to see so many faces back in BP again, but equally sad to see many of them growing old these days.
